Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI)
Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI) is Siem Reap's airport, well outside town; travellers in 2025 and 2026 report close to an hour by car to the centre. Flights are booked under the code SAI.
Airport shuttle bus. USD 8 each way. After you leave the arrivals hall, follow the Airport Bus signs: the counter is on the left, and the buses stand about 80 m in front of the international exit. Buses leave the airport at 09:30, 11:00, 12:30, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 17:30, 19:00, 20:00 and 22:00, and end at the shuttle's town station on 7 Makara Road, in front of ACE School.
Hotel transfers are not part of the bus ticket. The shuttle company offers a tuk-tuk from any hotel in town to its station for USD 2, and drops you free at hotels within 2 km of the station.
Taxi or Grab. The Grab pickup point is about 60 m from the international exit, and the tourist service centre is beside the exit. The airport publishes no taxi tariff, so agree the fare before you set off or use the price the app shows. A car is the quickest choice when you land after the last bus.
