Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI): getting to town
Siem Reap's airport is Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI), well outside town; it replaced the old airport (REP) in October 2023. The official shuttle bus costs USD 8 to its station on Makara Road, leaving the airport at ten set times from 09:30 to 22:00. A car or Grab takes close to an hour; travellers in 2025 and 2026 report paying about USD 25 to 30.
SAI replaced the old airport

Siem Reap's flights use Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI), well outside the town. It opened for commercial flights on 16 October 2023 and replaced the old Siem Reap airport (REP), so directions written for the old airport no longer apply. Flights are booked under the code SAI.
